| Q: |
I would like to paint my unit. Can I sand it off and do this? |
| A: |
Our units cannot be painted because they have a paper laminate finish. If paint is applied on top of the paper, it will only cause the paper to bubble up. If you sand the unit, you will be left with a pressed board surface which will absorb the paint and likely warp. |

| Q: |
My unit has a terrible odor. How can I get rid of this smell? |
| A: |
This odor will usually dissipate on its own. For faster results, you can wash the inside of the unit and drawers with a mixture of half water-half vinegar. Please wring out the cloth so that it is not dripping water. Allow the drawers to air out completely before using them. You may repeat the process, if necessary. Alternatively, you can use charcoal briquettes inside the drawers to absorb odors. |

| Q: |
How should I clean my furniture? |
| A: |
We recommend cleaners such as Pledge or Endust. Just spray the cleaner on a clean cloth. Do not spray the furniture directly. Then use the cloth to wipe off the unit. Remember, water on a laminate finish can cause bubbling or peeling. |
